About University of Tabuk

A public university founded in 2006 (1427 AH) in Tabuk, in the north-west of Saudi Arabia, by order of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. It runs 18 colleges, including medicine, nursing, engineering, applied medical sciences and business administration, plus university colleges and branches in the governorates of Duba, Al-Wajh, Umluj, Haql and Tayma. Its official facts-and-figures page reports 28,019 enrolled students, of whom 25,139 are undergraduates and 413 are master's students, the rest in diploma programmes. Under its 1446 AH admission rules, applicants need a weighted score of at least 85% for the health track and 80% for engineering majors.
