About Qassim University
Qassim University is a public Saudi university headquartered in Buraydah in the Qassim region. It was created in 2004 by merging a number of colleges that had belonged to King Saud University and Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. Its main campus covers roughly eight square kilometres and it operates more than thirty colleges offering diploma, bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes. The university publishes two admission measures — a weighted average and an equivalent percentage — applied according to discipline and gender.
