About Northern Border University
Northern Border University is a Saudi public university created by royal decree in 1428 AH (2007), after King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz announced its establishment during a visit to the Northern Borders region. Its main campus is in Arar, with branches in the governorates of Rafha and Turaif. Its colleges cover medicine, pharmacy, nursing, applied medical sciences, science, engineering, computing and information technology, business administration, humanities and social sciences, design and arts, plus an applied college. Enrolment was recorded at 18,313 students in the 1445 AH (2023/24) statistics.
