About American University in Dubai
The American University in Dubai (AUD) is a private university founded on 1 October 1995, with its campus in Dubai Media City. It follows a US-style academic model and is organised into schools of business administration, engineering, architecture, art and design, communication, arts and sciences, and education; its engineering school was established in 2001 in partnership with the Georgia Institute of Technology. AUD is accredited by SACSCOC in the United States and licensed by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Enrolment stood at roughly 1,800 students in Fall 2022.
