About Al Ain University
Al Ain University is a private university in the United Arab Emirates, established in 2004 and enrolling its first cohort in 2005; it was formerly named Al Ain University of Science and Technology. It operates two campuses: the original one in Al Ain and a second in Abu Dhabi opened in 2008, which moved into a purpose-built facility in Mohamed Bin Zayed City in 2017. The university teaches through eight colleges covering dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, engineering, law, business, communication and media, and education/humanities and social sciences. Times Higher Education data put enrolment at about 2,588 students, 61% of them international.
