About Bahrain Polytechnic
Bahrain Polytechnic was established by Royal Decree No. 65 of 2008 as a government tertiary institution in Isa Town, opening formally later the same year. It specialises in applied, professionally oriented education, awarding certificates, diplomas and bachelor's degrees, and has since added master's programmes, postgraduate research, part-time and top-up degrees, apprenticeships and continuing education. Teaching is organised into schools of Business, Engineering, ICT, Creative Media, Logistics and Maritime Studies, Accounting and Finance, plus a Foundation school. Its creation was one of the education-and-training reform initiatives tied to Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030.
