About Ajman University
Ajman University is a private university in the emirate of Ajman, United Arab Emirates, founded on 17 June 1988 as Ajman University College of Science and Technology — the first private university in the GCC and the first institution in the UAE to admit expatriate students. It later operated as Ajman University of Science and Technology before adopting its present name. It has nine colleges, including a recently established College of Medicine, and offers 46 programmes accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (26 undergraduate, 18 master's and 2 doctoral). It entered the world's top 400 in the QS World University Rankings 2027.
