Tesla Just Revealed The Roadster With A Truly Insane Demo. Here's What You Need To Know

The new Roadster can jump over a Semi truck and do 0-60 in 0.81 seconds, Tesla claims. But it's not actually available yet.

Tesla has once again put its long-promised Roadster in the spotlight, this time with a demonstration in which the sports car vaults over one of the company's own Semi trucks. The automaker also claims the car can reach 60 mph from a standstill in just 0.81 seconds — a number that, if it ever reaches customers in that form, would sit far beyond anything currently sold for the road.

The important caveat is that the Roadster is still not on sale. Tesla has been teasing this model for years, and what was shown is a demonstration rather than a launched product with final specifications. No confirmed pricing, production timeline or regional availability has been announced, so Saudi buyers should treat everything they see as a preview rather than a purchase plan.
