The US state of Maryland witnessed a horrific chain collision in which a Tesla Cybertruck completely split into two halves, stunning eyewitnesses who described what happened as a "living miracle." After a violent crash between several vehicles, the rear truck bed completely separated from the front cabin, but the vehicle's armored steel structure withstood the force of the impact, allowing the occupants to exit alive without serious injuries.
This remarkable survival in the crash is attributed to the Cybertruck's unique design, which relies on an exterior body made of stainless steel, preserving the cabin's integrity even with the rear half separated. This type of protection places the vehicle in a very advanced position within the luxury electric truck segment in terms of safety, though it still sparks debate about its durability in side-impact accidents.
In the Saudi market, the Tesla Cybertruck belongs to the high-performance electric truck segment and faces direct competition from models such as the Rivian R1T and Ford F-150 Lightning.
