BYD continues to solidify its presence in the Egyptian market, as Stella Li, the company's Executive Vice President, conducted a field tour of a number of the brand's technology and service centers, accompanied by officials from ManDream, the official agent. The tour included monitoring the performance of the sales network and after-sales services, and directly assessing the customer experience, in a step that reflects the company's interest in operational standards in the local market.
The visit carries broader implications than just inspecting operations, as it places Egypt in a pivotal position within BYD's regional growth strategy, with expansion plans being discussed extending toward 2027. The company appears to view the Egyptian market as a launchpad to enhance its presence in the region, especially with the growing demand for electric and hybrid vehicles in Arab markets.
