Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the third-generation GLA, its compact luxury SUV, confirming that the model will launch with both fully electric and mild-hybrid powertrains for the first time. The new GLA grows slightly in size compared to its predecessor, a move that positions it more competitively in the increasingly crowded subcompact SUV segment. This marks a significant shift for the German automaker, as the GLA now offers buyers a choice between traditional combustion and battery-electric drivetrains under the same nameplate.
For Saudi shoppers, the updated GLA will enter a fiercely contested market dominated by rivals such as the BMW X1, Audi Q3, and the Lexus UX.
