About Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University

A private university in Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, founded in 2006 on the initiative of Prince Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz and opened to students in 2008. Instruction is in English, and its academic structure was developed with the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC), drawing on specialists from 32 American universities. It has six colleges — Engineering, Computer Engineering and Sciences, Business Administration, Law, Architecture and Design, and Sciences and Human Studies — plus a Preparatory Program, and offers graduate degrees including PhDs in mechanical engineering and business administration. It appeared among the world's top 1,000 institutions in the Times Higher Education ranking for 2020-2021.
