About Gulf College
Gulf College is a private higher-education institution in Oman. It started in 1990 as a professional and vocational training provider and was upgraded to higher-education college status in 2003 under the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. In 2014 it moved to its purpose-built campus in Mabela, Muscat, and it holds institutional accreditation from the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance. Its academic units are the Department of Business and Management Studies, the Department of Computing Sciences, the Centre for Foundation Studies and the Postgraduate Studies Department, with bachelor's and MBA degrees delivered in academic affiliation with Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK). The college was placed in the 251-300 band of the QS Arab Region University Rankings 2026.
