About University of Technology Bahrain
The University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) is a private university in Salmabad, Kingdom of Bahrain, established on 1 September 2002 as AMA International University of Bahrain. It took its present name in 2021 following its acquisition by the Bahraini GFH Financial Group. UTB teaches business, engineering and information technology, including computer science, international business, business informatics, engineering informatics and mechatronics engineering, alongside an MBA. It runs on a trimester calendar that lets students complete a bachelor's degree in roughly three years and three months.
