About Zayed University
Zayed University is a UAE federal public university founded in 1998 and named in honour of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding president of the UAE. It operates two campuses, in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and was originally established to educate Emirati women before opening admission to male students in 2008. Its seven colleges span business, communication and media sciences, natural and health sciences, technological innovation, arts and creative enterprises, humanities and social sciences, and interdisciplinary studies. It is accredited by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation and by the US Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
