About University of Dubai
The University of Dubai is a private university founded in 1997 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is owned by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and licensed by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The university is organised into three schools — the Dubai Business School, the College of Engineering & IT, and the College of Law — offering more than 26 undergraduate and graduate degree programmes. It became the first private university in Dubai to earn AACSB accreditation for its business programmes in 2009, and its computing and information systems programmes have held ABET accreditation since 2006; its campus holds the region's first LEED Zero Energy certification.
