Schneider Electric’s upgraded app-free EV charger now has NACS

Schneider Electric has refreshed its Charge Pro commercial Level 2 electric-vehicle charger, and the update brings a feature that many Saudi EV owners have been waiting for: native NACS support. The new version also strips away the need for a smartphone app, offering truly app-free charging, and promises a much faster setup process compared to the previous model. For a commercial charger aimed at workplaces, fleets, and multi-unit dwellings, these changes directly address common pain points around compatibility and ease of use.

In Saudi Arabia’s growing commercial EV charging segment, the Charge Pro sits alongside offerings from brands like ABB, Siemens, and local players such as Electromin and Al Fanar. What sets Schneider Electric’s upgraded unit apart is its native NACS plug, which is the same connector used by Tesla’s Supercharger network.
