Diamond Motors, the exclusive distributor of Mitsubishi cars in Egypt and part of the Kuwaiti Al Mulla Group, announced the opening of its new integrated branch under the name "Fuji" in the New Cairo area on the Ain Sokhna Road, as part of its plans to expand its service network and enhance the customer experience.
This expansion comes at a time when Mitsubishi cars have a notable presence in the Gulf markets, especially in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where the Japanese brand competes strongly in the compact and family SUV category, such as the Outlander and Eclipse Cross, along with practical sedans like the Attrage.
In the Saudi market, Mitsubishi faces fierce competition from Toyota models such as the RAV4 and Yaris, Nissan Kicks and Sentra, and Hyundai Tucson and Elantra. Therefore, what distinguishes Mitsubishi models in the Kingdom is the well-known reliability of Japanese manufacturing, along with relatively competitive prices and an extensive service network.
As for the Saudi shopper, it is useful to note that Mitsubishi often offers extended warranties and attractive financing offers, but it is advisable to compare the costs of periodic maintenance and spare parts with direct competitors, especially in the family car category, which requires reliable after-sales service.
Although the new opening in Egypt pertains to the local market there, it reflects the parent group's commitment to developing the distribution network, thereby enhancing consumer confidence across the entire Arab region.
