About Yanbu Industrial College
Yanbu Industrial College was founded in 1989 (1409 AH) as part of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu's colleges and institutes, and sits in Yanbu Industrial City on the Red Sea coast. It is organised into five academic departments — Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Management Sciences — offering 18 programmes that run from the intermediate diploma up to the bachelor's degree. Its mechanical engineering diploma programmes have held ABET accreditation since 2007, the Management Sciences department is ACBSP-accredited, and the college also holds national academic accreditation. Enrolment stood at 5,252 students in the 2024/2025 academic year, taught by 304 faculty members.
