About University of Hafr Al-Batin

The University of Hafr Al-Batin is a Saudi public university in Hafr Al-Batin governorate, Eastern Province, created by Royal Decree No. 20937 dated 2 Jumada II 1435 AH / 3 April 2014. It was formed by merging branch campuses previously run by King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and the University of Dammam (now Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University). It operates 13 colleges across sites in Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Khafji and An-Nuayriyah — including Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Applied Medical Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Science, Arts, Education and Business Administration — offering some 47 academic programmes with about 866 faculty members.
