About Qatif Technical College
Qatif Technical College is a government technical college under Saudi Arabia's Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, located in Qatif Governorate in the Eastern Province. It was created on the instruction of the TVTC governor at the start of 1429 AH, corresponding to January 2008, to absorb secondary-school graduates seeking a technical route, and was the first such male training facility in the governorate. It opened with four specialisations: computing, welding, electronics and general carpentry. Training runs over two roughly eighteen-week terms a year, combining theory and practice, with a final cooperative-training term spent in industry.
