About Makkah Technical College
Makkah Technical College is a government college under the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, established in the 1420/1421 AH academic year (roughly 1999–2000) by decision of the corporation's board, and is described as one of the largest technical colleges in the Kingdom. It has moved to a modern campus in the Wali Al-Ahd district of Makkah housing departments of computer and information technology, electrical technology, and engine and vehicle technology, plus a general studies centre. Graduates receive the intermediate university degree (diploma), and the college reports about 3,000 students.
