About Riyadh University of Arts
Riyadh University of Arts is a government university of special status with an independent budget and non-profit character, specializing in culture and the arts. Located in the Al-Arid district of Riyadh and overseen by the Ministry of Culture, it was announced in September 2025 and formally established by royal decree on 14 March 2026. It comprises around 13 colleges spanning theater and performing arts, film, music, design and architecture, fashion, and visual arts, and aims to enroll up to 30,000 students by 2040.
