About Texas A&M University at Qatar
Texas A&M University at Qatar is a branch campus of the US-based Texas A&M University, established in 2003 in Education City, Doha, in cooperation with the Qatar Foundation. It focuses on engineering, offering bachelor's degrees in chemical, electrical, mechanical and petroleum engineering, plus a master's in chemical engineering launched in 2011. It enrolled about 844 students in fall 2023. The campus is scheduled to close by 2028.
