About Al Rayyan International University College
Al Rayyan International University College is a private higher-education institution in Doha's West Bay business district. It traces its origins to Qatar's first private university, which opened in September 2000 and operated as Stenden University Qatar until 2021, when it took its current name under a new academic partnership with the UK's University of Derby awarding UK-accredited degrees. Its programmes concentrate on international hospitality and tourism management, international business, event management, accounting and finance, and culinary arts, alongside MBA and MSc tourism management degrees. It is licensed and recognised by Qatar's higher education authorities.
