About Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College
Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College is Qatar's state military college, based in Doha. It was founded in 1996 during the reign of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and is named after Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Thani. The college trains and commissions officers for the Qatari Armed Forces through programmes that combine military training with academic study. It awards bachelor's degrees in fields including administration, intelligence and national security, computer science, accounting, international relations, law, cybersecurity, Russian language, leadership, and supply and logistics, alongside a diploma in administration. Its 24th cohort graduated in March 2025.
