About Prince Sultan University
The first private, non-profit university in Saudi Arabia, located in Riyadh. It was founded in 1998 as Prince Sultan College by the Riyadh Philanthropic Society for Sciences, welcomed its first cohort the following year, and was elevated to university status by the Ministry of Higher Education in 2003; it was inaugurated by Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz. It has six colleges — Engineering, Computer and Information Sciences, Business Administration, Law, Architecture and Design, and Sciences and Humanities — as well as a College of Medicine. Its official figures list 7,130 students, 991 employees and 13 NCAAA-accredited programmes, and English is the main language of instruction.
