About National University of Science and Technology
The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) is a private university in Muscat, Oman, formed in 2018 by merging two established institutions: Caledonian College of Engineering and Oman Medical College. It comprises the College of Engineering; the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, which dates to 2001 and is Oman's only private medical college; the College of Pharmacy, created in 2018 from a pharmacy programme begun in 2003; and the International Maritime College Oman in Sohar, with campuses spread across Muscat and Sohar. Programmes are delivered in collaboration with international partners including Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland and West Virginia University and the University of South Carolina in the United States. Its engineering college was the first private engineering college accredited by Oman's academic accreditation authority.
