About Bayan College
Bayan College is a private college in the Sultanate of Oman, founded in 2006 under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education, and the first private-sector college in Oman to offer media studies programmes. It spent its first decade at its original Madinat Ilam premises before moving in September 2016 to a purpose-built campus. The college is academically affiliated with Purdue University Northwest in the United States and awards diplomas and bachelor's degrees in journalism, advertising, broadcasting, public relations and communication, visual communication design, English literature and English professional writing, plus master's degrees in English Studies and Media Studies and a General Foundation Programme.
