About Jubail Industrial College
Jubail Industrial College is a government college under the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, located in Jubail Industrial City on Saudi Arabia's Arabian Gulf coast. It began in 1978 as a Royal Commission workforce training centre, became an institute in 1982, and was reconstituted as a college of engineering and business administration in 1989. It has nine academic departments spanning chemical, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, architecture and planning, computer and information technology, business administration, English language and general studies, awarding associate and bachelor's degrees across 24 academic programmes. The college is residential by design, with more than 90% of students living on its roughly 1.37 million square metre campus.
