About Jazan University
Jazan University is a Saudi public university founded on 5 January 2006 in the city of Jazan, on the Red Sea coast in the southwest of the Kingdom. It was formed by consolidating colleges that had previously been supervised by King Abdulaziz University and King Khalid University, and it remains the only public university in the Jazan region. It operates around 23 colleges spanning health, engineering, science and humanities disciplines, alongside diploma programmes. Enrolment stood at roughly 49,960 students according to a 2019 count.
