About College of Telecom & Information (Jeddah)
The Jeddah College of Telecom & Information traces its origins to 1391 AH (about 1971), when it was founded as the Institute of Wired and Wireless Communications under the Ministry of Telegraph, Post and Telephone to train technical staff for the Saudi telephone network, later becoming a college of communications. Oversight moved to the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) by Council of Ministers decree No. 100 of 1418 AH (1997). It awards the intermediate diploma in telecommunications and information-technology specialisations.
