About University of Bahrain
The University of Bahrain is a public university established in 1986, with its main campus at Sakhir alongside campuses in Isa Town and Salmaniya. It is organised into nine colleges: Arts, Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Health and Sport Sciences, Law, Applied Studies, and Bahrain Teachers College. Open enrolment data published by the university records about 29,958 registered students in the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, the large majority of them undergraduates, with smaller numbers in diploma, higher-diploma, master's and doctoral programmes.
