About University College of Bahrain
University College of Bahrain (UCB) is a private higher-education institution founded in 2002 in the Kingdom of Bahrain by Shaikh Prof. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa; its campus is in the Janabiyah area adjoining Saar. It awards bachelor's degrees in business administration, information technology, and communication & multimedia, together with an MBA. UCB is licensed by Bahrain's Ministry of Education, received four-year institutional accreditation from the Board of Trustees for Higher Education in March 2024, obtained a quality-assurance certificate from Jordan's Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission in 2022, and its degrees have been recognised by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Education since January 2023.
