About Al-Maarefa University
Al-Maarefa University is a private university in Riyadh that began in 2009 as Al-Maarefa Private College with a focus on health and engineering disciplines, expanded in 2014 as Al-Maarefa Colleges for Science and Technology, and was granted full university status in August 2018. It now runs colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, Applied Medical Sciences, Engineering and Computer Science, and Business Administration, plus a general preparatory programme and graduate studies. It maintains academic partnerships with international institutions including Monash University in Australia and the University of Florida in the United States.
