In the Saudi market, the Sequoia competes in a crowded full-size SUV segment that includes the Nissan Patrol, Ford Expedition, Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, and the locally popular Toyota Land Cruiser. The addition of the Trailhunter trim targets buyers who want serious off-road capability straight from the factory, similar to what Ford offers with its Tremor package on the Expedition. For Saudi families who frequently travel through sand and rocky terrain, this could be a compelling alternative to the heavier-duty Land Cruiser.
